I'm happy to say I popped in the local mac store and got a copy of CoD4. It's amazing! The free online play is just as good as Live! My only bummer is the graphics are nowhere near as good as the 360's. Still great game!

Hey, I know it isn't really new but Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is available for Mac and thats one of the best shooters I've ever played, could give it a go mate.

Unreal 2004 and Battlefield 2142 is on MAC as far as i know. They should run pretty good on your system.

Dude...
I SAID I KNOW THAT!!! I don't need the newest games that just came out but what are a few great classics? I'm a huge FPS fan so please, are there any good ones out there which will run well?

I don't think there are any newer shooters out there for mac. Games are generarly made for the PC market.

I just bought the 20" iMac 2.4GHz for movie making but I love games- Do you know any good shooters that'll run well?
Also I KNOW pc will be ideal for any gaming fix but this is what I bought so I'll live.

What are you paying for when you get a Mac? With a 1.86 GHz processor, 1gb of ram and an 80GB hard drive a mac mini shouldn't cost £400
