Love this song~~Love the way these two Kind men sing this song together~~
This is a reminder for me that I want
my Sundays to be the way they are today,
then they used to be~~In March by the Grace
of God I will have 17 years clean and sober!

The facts are straight! He said Ray Stevens originally RECORDED it, which he did in 1969. Cash then covered it in 1970 and it became a #1 hit. He never said the Kris didn't write it.

Meh, JC does nothing for me. Kris Kristofferson is easily the greatest country lyricist, period. He's one of the few country musicians I can stand. He would've made a better folk musician.

Bullshit, Kris wrote the song. Get your facts straight before ya make folks confused. Kris wrote the song FOR Johnny.
