JuillHope17, you are the reason people hate critics. :-p Who CARES about what the critics say? I confess - I don't know dick about opera;THIS MAN makes me want to know more about opera. And, unless I'm very much mistaken, opera could use a publicity boost like the one Neal Boyd has given it. As others have said about art, I say about opera - I don't know anything about it, but I know what I like. I like Neal, and apparently, so did America. Deal with it, critics, and shut up.

Paul Potts incredible in audition, better still now 1 year on. Let both singers sing, also, some critics are themselves opera singers who have had many years in conservatories, and maybe have not got recognition, so when someone who has not gone through the right schooling like Paul, it makes some angry. Paul deserves his fame, raw talent that need nurturing. Neil deserves it also, because the people voted for him.

in my opinion, i think both are great singer... but Paul Pot is the best for me... i even got goosebump when i first time, second time and every time listen to Paul Pot... for me Paul Pot is perfect... this is just my opinion guys... i think simon cowell will agree with me.... hehehe.... smile ;-) anyway congratulations to both of them.. these 2 guys make me fall in love with opera songs...

you make me sick with this comment. i AM an opera critic as a matter of fact, and you're not so you should just stop talking. and i actually can perform this aria better because i've trained and have the technique, diction, interpretation, and everything down, and i don't need a microphone and recorded accompaniment to fill a small auditorium like he does. and what do you know of musicality? really, enlighten me because from the look of your comment, you know NOTHING. bye :)
