Man, I love the sound on this clip. They sound more like a contemporary jazz band (a GOOD one) than the more produced sound on the album.

Mark's always done that little rap in the live and extended versions. "Somethin' 'bout the way are/can't go back we've gone too far/nothing is the way it seems/we're quite safe here in our dreams/You for Me are all it takes/ to wipe the slate of my mistakes/I'm not perfect, but that's for sure/I'm only human after all!" <3 Greatness.

easily.
he has one brain dedicated to singing
and two brains dedicated to playing bass!

sure - the low action helps him get that twang - very close to the keys sound though - that percussiony sound allows him to get really busy - hey I still do 40 person venunes and he's making $50K a nite -somethings working for him

That buzz comes from the action being so low and his choice of strings. That's his sound. It's worked all of these years so why complain now?
SOLARPROMO (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
is it so so wrong to be human after all?

Live pickups. You have to be a very good player to use those on bass. Not rap crap sequencer that most young people are used to hearing.

Love it but: Was that a rap at the end? Lol |
