also... bullshit... I was pulled over some years back for speeding and got arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor and my unloaded rifle in my back seat... and I live in Texas... it was still considered "gun-related" and two more squad cars showed up just because of that... Even though I told the officer about it and I wasn't about to shoot a damn cop, much less with an unloaded gun...

If Lord of War was too violent for your liberal mind to watch, the US or other large country will leave the weapons of the dead or otherwise left and forgotten in the country rather than ship them back since it is cheaper to just make new ones. This leaves THOUSANDS of guns unaccounted for and end up on the black market and also in the US. This is where gang bangers get full auto and most any other guns. Once someone reports a gun has been stolen, even a corrupt police force HAS to do something.

The point is, the people shouldn't be afraid of the government, the government should be afraid of it's people... When the government takes away our ability to defend ourselves, they get an immense power over us. The same power Saddam had over Iraq and Kuwait; and the same power Hitler had over Germany, and Poland, and Belgium, and France, etc. No one man or government should have that much power, history proves it...

The laws that our government is coming out with nowadays are EXTREMELY similar to the laws that both Saddam's Iraq and Nazi Germany came out with during both Saddam's and Hitler's rises to power... Also, most illegal guns are smuggled into the US from other countries... Hell even Lord of War made this point, when the US or any other country win a war or even during "peacekeeping" missions, it's cheaper to build new guns than ship them out of country...

Thats it exactly, the good guys will obey the law while the criminals will not.If we were all armed crime would drop.

if someone has a gun on there person while commiting a crime they have the ability to use that gun and they have more likely then not the intention to use it if they felt they have to.
if you have a gun and you get caught with a gun is it not gun related

how can you compare a dictatorship and a country in the middle of an attempt to take over the world to America supposed "land of the free" and all that.i would wonder how the people who sell illegal guns get them 9 times out of 10 they were probably stolen from the legal owners of the guns

When the anti-gun people are ready to give up the rest of our bill of rights, we can talk.
Then we will hang em.

one could go on about this issue forever. this country was founded on personal freedoms. one at a time we lose our freedoms at the hands of self proclaimed guardians of public safety like fat Rosie. Al Sharpton made a career out of extorting money from honest business owners in the name of "racial equality". Damn right he's worried about being a target... |
