Mac is just awesome, I never fell in love with a computer before. I have used Windows PC all my life, when I got a Mac few months ago, I got hooked to it and want to learn more about it, which I don't normally do on my past computers.

Apple released the Macintosh platform in 1984. Microsoft first released Windows in 1985. Apple released OS X 'Tiger' in April 2005. Microsoft first released Vista in the final quarter of 2006, with a full worldwide release in January 2007.

Apple did sue Microsoft when they first made Windows; the problem was, because Microsoft was signed up to write apps for the Mac, there was a clause in the contract that said Microsoft COULD copy the look of the Mac operating system in their software. It was only intended to apply to software applications for the Mac, but it was ruled that the contract wasn't specific enough and so Microsoft where permitted to copy the look of Mac OS in ANY software (including their own, competing OS).

the headline should read Microsoft makes a mockery out of copying cause they did such a bad Job implementing the copied feautures I can't beleve they coundn't even copy the calendar properly ! and this is the biggest software company in the world ! lol wat a joke !

First of all, why hasn't Apple Inc. put a lawsuit against Microsoft? Second, so what if some programs are similar, that doesn't mean that Microsoft deliberately tried to to copy Macintosh. Who knows maybe Macintosh copied Windows. It's a different insight with the different point of view. Plus I believe Mac and Windows are equally powerful and wonderful companies and I have not had the experience of using a Macintosh. But you need look from another point of view.
